I have been teaching English as a second language for 4 years now and I am amazed with the amount of technology that is available that showcases the abilities of English language learners. Our class is in need of these iPads so they can grow in the four domains of the English language: listening, reading, speaking, and writing. By donating to our project, you will be aiding to the language development of 150 diverse students from around the world. In the classroom, we love to create, explore, design, perform, and record. If we had iPads, the possibilities would be endless for the students! They would have opportunities that they can not experience in the regular classroom or at home. I want my students to be successful and have access to some amazing apps that help develop the domains of English. Some of the apps include Flipgrid, ChatterPix, Doodle Buddy, etc. Not only can the iPads meaningful lessons that develop listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills for English language learners, but it also can create a love of learning and appreciation for education.
