With these new games/toys my students will be able to develop social skills by sharing and working together to complete different task. These games/toys will also help strengthen their fine and gross motor skills.
My students are very active, however, they are still striving to meet their goals of socially interacting with their peers. The best way to promote social skills is to provide activities that will encourage such outcomes. Students will be able to choose games/toys that interest them. While independent play is acceptable the outcome is to be able to interact with a friend.
The majority of my students lack social interaction skills and these games/toys will help my students have day to day experience that involve contact with other students and enrich day to day classroom experience.
