Our school has a program called Lexia. It complements our reading program very well. Each student has a personal goal to reach on an iPad or Chromebook. By providing my class with individual headphones, my students will be able to work independently and quietly without interruption from others.
It is helpful for many of our students to not be distracted by others working on a different level as them. If we all have headphones, we can work for longer periods of time, and accomplish our goals. Our students are driven to accomplish their goal and we can do it with headphones.
