The items I have requested will allow me to work with small groups that need immediate intervention and attention while providing meaningful, necessary practice of core math and reading concepts that are required for students in other rotations. Concepts such as telling time, money sense, comprehension, and academic vocabulary.
During rotations, small groups of students will be able to use self-paced, hands-on activities that are reinforcing standards taught in class.
Students will be paired in high/low groups in hopes of providing mentor opportunities. They will give the students the opportunity to learn in a more relaxed, fun, and laid back setting.
