Our students this year bought a ceramic kiln with the monies they earned selling pencils from our school vending machine. We have this fabulous new kiln but the ceramic supplies are so expensive and out or range for our school art budget.
Ceramic glazes turn our clay creations into magical shiny art pieces. We will make snow people, Native American spirit animals, coil pots, and the biomes of Utah, and the Spiral Jetty in our art class. In past years we have resorted to acrylic paint to paint our clay pieces. Ceramic glaze will make our projects stunning for years to come.
