My students have Chromebooks that are now quite a few years old, and the touchpads are getting very temperamental. Mice would give them much better access to their devices and all of the technology programs that are at their disposal.
It is very challenging for my students when they are trying to do their work, or research a site, and they can't be successful because their touchpad is not cooperating; mice would hopefully make this issue nonexistent. To keep up with the growing demand of technology in our curriculum, almost all of our subjects and lessons are done on our laptops. I have asked quite a few times for parents to please send mice in for their children to use, but have gotten little or no response. It has become apparent to me that this might be something that is not an expense families can afford right now, and so I reached out to a fellow teacher who has used this site before to see if I could find a way to get my students this necessary piece to be able to access their technology more readily.
