Due to new district technology initiatives, all technology that does not support Windows 10 will be obsolete by December 2019. The result of this initiative is the removal of every desktop and laptop in our SpED classroom so it can be shipped back to central office for auction as per district policy. This will leave my students and myself without technology for the application of the subjects in a challenging and rigorous manner through instructional and assessment methods. My students will essentially be unable to complete the bulk of their necessary coursework in the SPED classroom when necessary, therefore violating their services as outlined in the Individualized Education Plans.
