As those who know me well may know, I am going into my second year of teaching Special Education Math, English and Study Skills. I love my school and my students, but this year is going to be hard. Right now I am unsure of whether or not my students will be back in the classroom every day, but I am preparing for all possibilities.
My project is focused on accommodating my students different learning styles. I plan to use Teachers Pay Teachers to purchase more resources on social/emotional learning for student's who may have behaviors that hold them back from fully participating in school. I am asking for more fidgets this year, allowing my students to fulfill their need for movement while still paying attention to the academic tasks at hand. More headphones will help my auditory learners and, in addition, my classroom is in need of every day items such as pencils, erasers and glue.
Any donation helps. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about my selected items. Each and every one has a specific purpose for my students.
