My students learn through experimenting with manipulatives. The items I have requested are either things my students themselves will use of things I will use to organize the materials for my students. The use of these manipulatives requires a lot of organization on my part. The binders and file folders I requested will help me prepare these materials for my students. The exploration that my students do, provides them with a deeper understanding of the math we are learning. This provides connections for them that will help them in future math classes. It also helps them to retain the information that they are learning in middle school to help them in high school and beyond. Thank you for helping me teach my students which will in turn help them grow.
