For this Project, I am wanting to introduce some classic literary works to my Literature and English II classrooms. Works such as Dracula, Frankenstein, and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde will be read to discuss Human nature and the darkness within us all. While Books such as 1984, Clockwork Orange and Shades of Gray: Road to High Saffron, will be used to explore the Dystopian Genre in literature groups.
These works are all high interest texts that students will study in literature groups and develop a group presentation on their chosen novel at the end of the unit of study.
