Outdoor lessons change up the typical classroom setting! Having picnic tables will allow students to use laptops, read books leisurely, and collaborate on projects while enjoying the great outdoors. Without these picnic tables the activities described above are a challenge due to lack of proper surfaces. Additionally, these picnic tables will also be used for small-group lunches as a reward and other social events!
Pre-k through 2nd graders are highly social beings whose intellectual development depends on interactions between their peers and their teachers during the school day. These picnic tables will provide students with the opportunity to enjoy time in the sunshine while keeping academics front and center.
