Having a classroom library for my students will make reading all the more enjoyable for the fourth graders in my class. Currently, their books are organized in bins that sit on the windowsills. Students fight over the one blue deflated bean bag chair in the classroom.
I want students to have a classroom library that they can walk into, easily find a book, take a seat, and be transported into other worlds through words. Students are currently working to bring their reading stamina up, reading for 15 minute increments at a time, with a comfortable classroom library, those 15 minutes will be a breeze to read through.
