My students with significant disabilities will have the opportunity to increase their transition skills by engaging in hands-on learning. The worktable can be used with our Attainment curriculum and as a place to practice preparing a snack or small healthy meal. The hanging bins will be in a placement that is easy to utilize and reach for all students without concerns about spills. The mezzaluna knife is an adaptive knife that can safely be used to cut fruit or vegetables. All of these items will allow me to begin teaching life-related skills in an accessible environment.
