Support Mrs. Rangel's classroom with a gift that fosters learning.
I am a first-year teacher building my classroom and, like many of us, it is a struggle to set up. Technology is so integrated into the lives of this current generation that their classroom should also reflect that.
I want to create a classroom of the future with integrated technology built in to enable my students to have every possible chance to succeed.
I want very high-quality headphones for my students since they all have to take several tests to record their progress in the program. The charging station will allow my students to keep their technology in an accessible place that they can maintain. Having an Amazon Echo will allow us to create a smart classroom, and they will regularly use it to ask questions on the spot without having to stop and research it, also we will be able to add ambiance with calming music while they work in groups. The rolling chair will be the centering piece of my conferencing table that will allow me to be at level with them. Using a clicker allows me to move around the classroom as the students keep focused on their work and what is being displayed on the screen. The pencil sharpener will facilitate supply management in class. As my students gather in small groups throughout my class, they can take the lap trays anywhere in the classroom and still write. The timer will allow the student to visually see how much time there is left to give them a sense of urgency when they work independently and with a partner.
