The elements on my list were all chosen with the desire to increase accessibility to learning by providing helpful tools for student engagement. My hope is that by introducing healthy ways of moving during lessons, my students will be able to find more success in the classroom environment.
The stretchy bands, sensory bracelets, and chew necklaces will keep my students' feet, hands, and mouths busy so their minds can focus on learning.
The rekenreks and base ten blocks will help them develop number sense, as they're able to use hands-on methods to solve problems.
The laminator, pencil bags, headphones, and handwriting lapboards will be implemented in creating engaging workstation activities.
