These materials will make a difference in our classroom. We are lacking technology at this moment. My classroom is composed of 22 students and we only have three computers to work. The inclusion of the iPads will serve to develop guided research projects and to utilize the school's platform.
The lack of technology equipment makes it difficult for the students to work independently on research projects. The computers we have do not offer flexibility for students to participate in active based learning, which allows students to refocus and strengthen their ability to pay attention. For accountability, these projects must be conducted at school.
Having a greater amount of technology equipment will ensure that my students take advantage of the differentiation strategies to review science and social studies concepts to increase performance in major formative and summative assessments. It works as well as a tool to utilize the school's platform to continue high quality instruction through computer based intervention and classroom discussions that will allow their formation as digital citizens.
