My Kindergarten students are eager to work and learn. The students in my school population many are first-generation Americans. Their families have arrived from the Middle East, South Africa and Africa. They want to learn to the best of their abilities and be engaged in all of their learning opportunities. The students arrive daily eager to work and learn. Many of my students have special needs and are placed in a regular education classroom. I provide each of my students with an individualized education program with appropriate interventions to meet their needs. Having more sensory resources, manipulatives and supplies will aide this population of children and help them thrive. This will help with their impulsivity, frustration and anxiousness. They will be provided with sensory materials to aide them better. The headphones will be used for computer assisted learning. The students enjoy using iPads and listening to interactive music. The sand and water table will be used for sensory play centers using special sensory manipulatives. The wiggle seats will aide the children when they sit for short intervals at their tables to complete independent or group tasks. Thanks for your support!
