These materials will help me as a teacher supply my students with supplies they can’t obtain on their own. This will allow me to ensure my students have the materials they need daily and succeed in their ELA class environment. Our school budget is limited, especially for maintaining copies and print materials. Monthly, I have to come out of my own pocket to pay front printed materials, pencils and other resources needed for my students. The printer will allow me to print materials instantly for class, the box of paper will assist with printed materials needed from novels and literature books. The boxes of pencils and pencil sharpener will allow students to always have the tools to write with. The task chair will replace a broken chair that is in our classroom. The chair will also be suitable for me as a teacher to pair-up with small groups. The other things are necessities needed to make our room complete. The supplies will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in authentic, meaningful writing.
