Technology is an essential tool in the classroom. As a first year teacher and in a Title 1 school, I have seen the need and potential benefits that it can bring to a classroom. It helps get students excited about learning by allowing them to have a hands on experience with their own learning. These iPads will allow every student the chance to practice what we have learned in class. They will also allow my students the opportunity to learn reading and math skills in small groups with the help of exciting educational apps.
These iPads will help students learn at their own pace by participating in activities that are specifically geared to them and their particular needs.
