The past few years of navigating the pandemic have taken a great toll on students and teachers. Usually, we strive to have community supplies and work together to take care of our classroom. Because of the need for extra sanitation, having community supplies isn't very feasible. Instead we are in desperate need of supplies for each individual student.
I have requested supplies such as: glue sticks zipper pouches, colored pencils, and dry erase markers. Students need to have individual bags of supplies that are ready to use at school or at home. This will help ease some of the anxiety for students about the potential of learning from home if they know they have a bag of supplies ready to take home.
Additionally, to help ease some of the stress while being back to in person school I have included flexible seating options to help students distress and feel comfortable in our classroom.
