This project will be used by all of my classes for many different things. Earth Science will use the document camera to see things such as rocks and minerals close up via the projector. The digital microscope will help to look at things such as shell erosion due to acidic salt water. Anatomy and Physiology will use the microscope camera lenses to take pictures of cells and tissues close up and use for their labs and explanations of structure and function of certain cell groups. The digital microscope will be used for projecting certain slides that there is only one of so all students can see the same things. The document camera in all classes to project examples of how to do certain problems so that students get an understanding of how to do the problems on their own.
These visual learning tools will be incredibly useful in helping my students to find relevance and gain understanding of scientific concepts that are not always easy to grasp through traditional learning modalities. Thank you for helping my students get the opportunity to experience their learning!
