Water is always a fascination among the students in our classroom. We choose to embrace this as water play makes for a great learning medium. We play with water both inside and outside often. The water toys I have chosen for this project all have a cause and effect theme. Using these toys, they will be able to develop their fine motor skills. They will use their scientific inquiry skills while learning about gravity. They will also have opportunities to practice sharing materials and working alongside other students their age.
We embrace water play in our classroom because it is a great way to touch on a lot of different learning areas all at once.
