These materials will make a significant impact in my classroom. Having 21 students with active imaginations and little resources is tough. First graders should not be learning science from a textbook, therefore they will be using the Light Cube and accessories to actively learn about light, colors, and other concepts. The Coding Bug will be great for my learners who enjoy the wonders of our technology class. It will give them an additional resource and additional time coding and exploring computer science. Students will use these materials to actively engage in STEAM. Without these additional resources my students' exploration into the STEAM subjects will be significantly limited and they may be delayed in finding their passion. The resources could start them down a path towards life changing future successes.
