We are learning new and exciting things in STEM class this year! Help us make this possible by supporting us in any way! I know the students will greatly appreciate it! These materials that you could gracious provide is will help to inspire increased growth that we, in general, could not have been provided. This class is not funded by the school system this year, as it is a brand new class to the 2019-2020 school year.
It does not take much to make these students fascinated. In August, we made a Solar Oven out of a simple pizza box. The fact that this could actually get hot enough to melt chocolate to make s鈥檓ores blew their minds! I found out that several students went home to 鈥渆ducate鈥 their family and make their own Solar Oven. Another teacher in the school did one as well! If it sparks an interest, we could potentially be molding future history makers with science!
Thank you!
