I will be starting an Engineering Club before school along with a first grade teacher at my school. It will be open to both 1st and 2nd graders. We will be teaching engineering principals and solving real-world problems with hands-on projects. The materials purchased through this grant will be used by students to create models and solve problems. The Engineering Club will helps its students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative skills. The kids will be working together to create models and design projects to solve specific challenges. Throughout each project, the students will be creating, self-assessing, re-evaluating, and reflecting on their learning and growth.
