My students live in a highly impacted area and come to school with so much on their plates. I've provided flexible seating, calm lighting, a zen garden, and some squishy toys. This project will help me continue to grow my calm space for them.
I teach a remedial reading class and the school district has provided the option of reading books on CD, but we no longer have CD players in order to use. I'd love to have external drives to use for them to have more book options to read. They are also working hard toward meeting individual goals and the snacks would be their rewards.
