Kindergarten is all about letters, sounds, numbers, but even more so about developing a love for learning. As a kindergarten teacher, I am constantly looking for new ways to engage students in their learning that is fun and bring it all to life. This easel would offer my class an essential teaching tool and would be used in so many different areas of learning. I can picture using the pocket charts to display and teach phonics and new vocabulary while having it accessible to students to manipulate and engage with. I can see using the felt board and book ledge as a way of breathing new life into a story. The easel's movability and versatility will allow for focused instruction and bring fun learning to the forefront.
