Every day all over the world people are falling and are not able to get up simply because they are home by themselves or the one person that is there is unable to lift them up off the ground, and they have to call first responders just to pick them up. This is a waste of time and can be easily fixed. The person lifter can solve this problem by simply lifting the person up to an almost standing or standing position. The student plans on using a simple platform connected to a wench to raise people up who have fallen and due to mobility reasons are unable to stand up. This simple device will be used to safely and more efficiently lift someone off the ground.
These materials will be used in a science fair engineering project and will help to teach the student the engineering process involved in developing products for reduced mobility patients. Your donations will support his science and engineering fair submission for the 2020 school year.
