All of my students need sensory input to focus and complete their work. These materials provide varies sensory inputs. The stretchy string/fidgets is used to bit, stretch, and spin. I have a student that enjoys popping bubbles. Most of my students use the kinetic sand to build shapes, swish together, and push back/forth. They enjoy watching the motion blubbers.
It's important for them to receive that sensory input to calm themselves so they are able to do their work. Each student gets to pick a reward for complete their work. Almost all of my students choose an item that will provide sensory input.
