Learning to play pickleball will help our students meet our state's educational standards. Students will learn the psychomotor skills required in physical activities to learn about force, geometry, sportsmanship, teamwork and more importantly having fun learning new skills and sport activities. They will learn the rules of the game and gain confidence through active learning. We are also using pickleball as part of our school wide Kindness Campaign. Our goal is for the students to be introduced to the game in our physical education classes so they can transfer their knowledge to play during their lunch recess. Our hope is for students to develop and foster new relationships as well as improve motor skills for the game.
