Beginning a music recording program will allow more than just 'band kids' to become involved in the music program. Adding this technology to our curriculum is the first step into modernizing and expanding the music program at TVHS.
We will learn together by exploring sound production and recording technology within a small group format, and eventually recording larger ensemble performances for our music department.
Once our recording program is up and running, the next step will be to add "Modern Band" instruments to accommodate more students' interests. Students who may not be interested in typical school band instruments will be able to express themselves on electric guitar, electric bass, keyboards, and drums, and playing popular music.
