My students come from low-income families; they don't get much for the holidays and I want to give them something to look forward to. After talking to them, I have learned that a lot of my students don't get stockings or stocking stuffers. I would like to be a part of giving them something that they can remember with stocking stuffers such as Play-Doh, pencils, erasers, and other items.
Students should feel proud of themselves and their art which is why my students will be able to decorate their stocking to make it their own. They will be hanging up with the requested hangers in our room until the day they leave for Christmas break. The stocking stuffers are for them to use at home or at school. I hope they get a lot of use out of them and I hope this brings joy and a smile to their life.
