Early literacy has proven to give children the foundation needed for continued success in all academic areas. With this library, my students will be able to receive individualized reading experiences based on their specific reading level. The books in this library with be both meaningful and engaging. My students will be allowed to bring a reading buddy to practice reading to and asking questions. They will also be able to participate in independent reading and literacy centers which will focus on print awareness, phonemic awareness and phonics instruction. Please help to give my students the solid foundation they need. Thank you.
