During centers, we have a lot of interest in sensory and science. We are looking to add more sensory manipulative materials to implement in the classroom. These will help our friends engage in their learning and be inquisitive while asking questions about why things work a certain way or how things feel. Help my students explore daily with science and sensory!
In the sensory area, students have the ability to discuss many topics through play. The students love to collaborate with one another when playing with sand, water, play dough, and other sensory items. This time is vital for our English Language Learners because this is the majority of the time they are learning vocabulary and conversational skills.
