There are many online tools that allow students to manipulate equations, functions, and graphs. I would like to be able to show mathematical functions through DESMOS and be able to use online strategies like Quizizz and Kahoot. Many of students are not able to afford laptops/tablets and it hinders their learning in the classroom. Students in this connected generation need to be able to use technology in order to fully understand what they are learning.
Students will be able to visualize mathematics through the use of online tools. The ability to use technology to see in real time what happens to graphs and mathematical models when coefficients and signs are changed. It is also essential to student's understanding and their depth of knowledge to the standards being taught.
