Many of our students have to borrow school supplies from their classmates and/or teachers. They come from a small agricultural town. Their parents work hard to provide housing, clothing, food, and other necessities, often times it does not leave much money for extras such as: notebooks, backpacks, paper, pencils and other school supplies.
By funding this project, you are helping them to become self-reliant students who will become academically stronger. Having their own school supplies will enable them also take college courses. Research has shown that participating in Dual and Concurrent enrollment classes, will better prepare students for college. Thank you in advance for your assistance with this much needed project.
