The students of our Business Professionals of America organization compete in a variety of events relating to the business field and endorsement. This past January, we competed in our local regional competition and received over 165 awards with nearly 80 students advancing to State competition in March. The resources requested through this project, will provide our students with some of the resources most needed for their presentations. The presentation clickers will allow them to seamlessly present their work without having to be near or interact with the computer while addressing their judges. Additionally, some of our teams compete with televisions, which are transported in cardboard boxes and risk them being damaged. This project will provide safe and cushioned cases, which our students can travel with to Dallas for competition and transport their screens to and from the competition room with little worry about it getting damaged along the way.
The motto of our organization is for students to #CapitalizeYourFuture; we hope that by providing our students with these resources they can capitalize on their opportunity to compete at State and advance to the National competition in Washington, DC this May.
