I teach a special needs class, TK, K and 1st grade, for disadvantaged children. My class is made up of all spectrums of autism ranging from low to high functioning. I am asking for 1 set of 26 ABC Phonics carpet squares for my classroom. I would love to use these to teach them the alphabet, phonics and letter recognition. In addition, this would help with utilizing their personal space which would help develop their social emotional skills. These carpets would assist me in the classroom during circle time and throughout the day as a learning tool. Please help my students in their learning journey.
