My students, mostly from a Hispanic, low-income neighborhood, use tablets to access a variety of math lessons and activities. These include personalized lessons on I-Ready, interactive math apps, and other online resources that reinforce key concepts such as problem-solving, algebra, and number operations. With these tablets, students can work at their own pace, receive immediate feedback, and engage with math in a more dynamic, hands-on way. These tools not only help them stay focused but also build their confidence and prepare them for the skills needed to succeed in state exams. This technology provides them with opportunities to excel despite limited resources.
