The use of a game like the Guess Who? game allows students to practice description skills in a foreign language in pairs while maintaining distance. The structure of the game is versatile and can be used at multiple stages of a lesson. The cards on the board can also be replaced to review vocabulary, verb tenses, and other grammar structures. The use of games with high school students is an excellent tool to get students excited about language learning and is a nice break from the digital-centric lesson to which kids have been subjected in the past two years.
