My students are constantly seeking some form sensory input. These students need a safe place to take breaks, calm down, and take care of their sensory needs. Our current sensory room needs a makeover! The space currently includes things like a trampoline, mats, and a few sensory items. However, each student is unique, and has specific sensory needs that can only be met through having different options available. The items needed in this project will help create a safe and calm space that meets the sensory needs of ALL students by providing them with everything they need. By providing multiple options for sensory input and self-regulation, all students will be able to return to learning faster and be more effective learners!
