Students want to do well academically, however, mathematics tend to be one of the biggest areas students struggle with in ninth grade. These materials will be used in addition to the course materials to reinforce the math standards as students work in small group activities. The cooperative learning tools will engage students as they discuss materials with their peers and bring mathematical concepts to life with hands on materials. This project will not only electrify my math class; it will also spur my students on to engage math outside the classroom. Help me take my students to the next level.
