This year our third-grade classroom houses 32 bright and high spirited children. Our classroom is filled with reading enthusiasts and soccer players with interests ranging from radioactivity to Greek mythology. With so many young scholars in our classroom, there is never a dull moment, but not much space either!
With such a large size class in a small classroom, sitting comfortably throughout the school day is a challenge to some of my students who need alternative seating accommodations. If you donate to this project, you will help my students be more productive in their learning by providing them with the opportunity to learn in an environment that accommodates their learning differences and needs. Some students work better on the rug, some students work better in a small group out in the hallway, while others work just fine at their tables.
Special seating would make such a big difference for our students! Please consider donating to our project. Thank you.
