Science is all about learning and doing. What better way to learn about forces and motion than to build and launch your very own rocket? They will have to use their mathematical skills to measure and place the rocket parts. Students will use critical thinking skills as they determine where and why to place the launch lug. Every aspect of assembling their rocket will require them to think about what they are doing and how it will affect the outcome of their project.
Going through the process of building a rocket, students will engage in a complete minds-on process. This process will encourage scientific inquiry, problem solving, and give them a memorable experience.
