Hello! Thank you for helping any way you can to allow my students with autism to safely expel their energy in a fun and safe environment. I hope to provide them with physical activities which can be used as reinforcements and energy release outlets in a smaller setting.
My students are always looking for new ways to bounce, jump, and move in a safe place. They also enjoy chewing on anything they can find, which is why I would love to give them clean, tasty bracelets to gnaw on when they feel stressed or anxious. Kids with autism are learning how to regulate their emotions and sensations in an appropriate and healthy way. While we discuss strategies in our Social Skills setting, having tangible outlets for them to expel energy will help exponentially to deal with excessive energy.
We love books and physical activities that help us learn what is applicable and appropriate for social play. We will thoroughly enjoy the mini trampoline and bouncy seats!
