An integral part of learning is collaboration. The mobile dry erase boards will be used in small team groups to allow students to discuss, debate, and inspire one another by facilitating open communication and teamwork. I will use these mobile boards to set up collaboration stations around my room where students can brainstorm ideas, collaborate in writing activities or share thoughts and ideas. One of the skills in high demand by employers today is the ability to communicate effectively and work as a productive team member. Students learn these important skills in low-stakes, high-collaboration environments like a school classroom.
