As differentiated instruction research has shown, allowing flexibility in seating can have a deep impact on how students learn. I want to create a classroom with flexible seating to allow my students to have movement because it is important piece of student engagement, especially in the younger grades. I want to buy a low table and chairs and balance balls for students so that they have some freedom in the classroom to choose a place to sit that works for them so that they can focus to the best of their ability.
