I teach at a 7-12 school in a big city. Our students come from low income families and are constant need of items from school supplies to a winter coat. We have a wonderful staff who donates items to the school and helps out the children when they can, but we still struggle. With all of these problems our children face they still walk into school smiling because they know they are safe.
