When children come into my classroom who have delays in speech, they need pictures from around the classroom to use for communication. These delays can happen because they are a little behind their peers in communication or they are learning English for the first time. The photos taken with this camera will give them a voice. It will help them communicate with teachers and peers. They will be able to express their wants and needs to avoiding frustration while they being to master the English language. These photos will help them feel apart of the classroom including being able to develop friendship skills with their peers.
