All book materials will be the start the school counseling library, with a collection of books that help students learn how to process and understand their mental, social and emotional needs. The sensory materials will help students learn various coping skills through their use. The seating materials will help build a comfortable and open space to allow students an area of expression as well as an area that supports a mindfulness and peaceful space. It can also serve as a destressing space that allows students to rest comfortably. Students will be able to pick and choose reading material, play with sensory toys, and seek counseling while staying engaged.
